Local Heroes Face Off in the Battle of the Badges

Hey batter, batter! What a spectacular Tuesday it was at Islanders Field in River Islands, as the Lathrop Police and the Lathrop-Manteca Fire Department Station 35 went head-to-head in the highly anticipated Battle of the Badges!
The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of residents and fans, all eager to witness the clash of these local heroes. With the River Islands Veterans Club serving up delicious hot dogs and treats, the stage was set for an epic showdown. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our police and fire departments, and of course, congratulations to the Lathrop-Manteca Fire Department Station 35 team who won 11 to 2 after nine exciting innings.
