However, it is important to note that all of the parks in the area are under the jurisdiction of the City of Lathrop, which means neighborhood parks are available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis.

Michael Vega Park

Featuring plenty of open space to set up a picnic, and a play structure for the younger ones to enjoy, Michael Vega Park is perfect for a relaxing day out.

Sunset Point Park at The Boathouse

Sunset Point Park is located on Lakeside Drive next to the Boathouse. It offers full-size bocce ball courts, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits, making it the perfect space for a fun afternoon in the fresh air.

Tidewater Park

Tidewater Park is located on Lake Somerston in Lathrop. It features a wide variety of athletic amenities and open spaces for residents to enjoy beautiful lake views. A great place to meet up, invite your neighbors here for a friendly game of basketball on the full-sized courts, or climb with your kiddos on the playground jungle gyms.

Summer House Park

At Summer House Park, you will find meandering walking paths that lead you throughout the park. Here, logging daily steps is a breeze. There’s also plenty of wide-open grassy space for your furry family members to frolic, too.

Crystal Cove Park

Are you looking to join in on a pick-up game? Crystal Cove Park features a full basketball court and a baseball diamond to enjoy with your friends and neighbors. You will also find small and large dog parks, and open field areas, where you can relish a day of family fun.

Somerston Park

Located on Emerson Street, Somerston Park is the perfect place to take a walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. Here, you will also find a jungle gym where the younger ones in your party can play. Its convenient location makes impromptu park play dates quick and simple.

Reflection Park

Planning a field day? Reflection Park has all of the space you need to host your activities. This area offers basketball courts, a volleyball court, and lots of open space, where you can get a game of flag football going. You can also find several barbecue pits perfect for your next family cookout.

Pocket Park nearby Veranda by Van Daele Homes

Our second pocket park is located nearby Veranda by Van Daele Homes! With more beautiful lakeside views to enjoy, you can stop by for some daily reflection or a peaceful break after a run on one of our many trails.

New Park Coming Soon

River Islands is adding a brand new 15-acre park to its community in the future! Residents will be able to enjoy picnic areas, a play structure for the younger ones, a shaded structure, and bathrooms. There will also be an assortment of baseball, softball, and T-ball fields to play some games with friends and family.
