Getting here is effortless.
From the Bay Area
Take I-5, 80 E to the I-205 E turnoff, proceed through Tracy and North on I-5. Take the Louise Ave Exit, Turn left off the freeway onto River Islands Parkway. Follow River Islands Parkway to the Welcome Center.
Driving South on I-5
Take the Louise Ave in Lathrop. Turn right off the freeway onto River Islands Parkway. Follow River Islands Parkway to the Welcome Center.
Driving North on I-5
Take the Louise Ave in Lathrop. Turn left off the freeway onto River Islands Parkway. Follow River Islands Parkway to the Welcome Center.
At the hub of three major freeways
- I-5, the major north-south route throughout California
- I-205, which connects to the major employment centers in the Tri-Valley and the Bay Area
- Hwy 120, the route to the Gold Country and Yosemite
Make a day of it.
For a real taste of what life at River Islands is like, why not stop by the Boathouse for lunch, take a walk on the Bennie and Joyce Gatto trail along the river, and enjoy a few peaceful moments by any one of our many lakes and parks.
