Neighborhood Parks

Summer is the time to spend with friends, family, and your River Islands neighbors! Our neighborhood parks present ideal spaces to kick back and gather with the community. Looking for a spot to spread out and enjoy a BBQ lunch? We’ve got that covered. Up for an active game of basketball? We’ve got that as well. Or, maybe you have a four-legged tail wagger who needs a place to run free every day. We’ve also got a sprawling dog park to accommodate your furry friends! So, head out to our outdoor amenities this summer and start making some lasting memories!

Crystal Cove Park

Next to our Crystal Cove neighborhood is our Crystal Cove Park. A large baseball diamond, full basketball court, grass area, and a picnic lawn make this park amenity a haven for our active residents.

Summer House Park

Summer House Park features long walking paths and wide-open grassy spaces. What could be better than a picnic under the summer sun? Maybe flying a kite and tossing a frisbee back and forth with friendly neighbors!

Tidewater Park

Tidewater Park also features athletic amenities for our active residents! Basketball courts, a playground, picnic tables, and a spacious grass area mean there’s a spot for everyone to enjoy when they visit!

Sunset Point Park

Adjacent to the Community Boathouse sits the Sunset Point Park. With its full-size bocce ball courts, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits, it’s the perfect space for a quiet afternoon in the fresh air.

Michael Vega Memorial Park

Michael Vega Memorial Park is dedicated to the memory of one of Lathrop’s fallen soldiers in the war in Afghanistan. This peaceful outdoor space is popular with our residents for picnicking and recreation. It also features play structures for our younger visitors.

Community Dog Park

One of our latest park amenities opened up just for our community canines. Two open fields offer space for both larger and smaller dogs to play and get some exercise. Water fountains and park benches are included to accommodate owners, as this is a spot for pet parents to connect as well!

In addition to our River Islands parks, an extensive trail system offers an ideal stretch for hikers and bikers, and nine water features provide a place for kayaking and rowing. Check them all out this summer season!
