At River Islands, we believe that caring and giving back should be a year-round commitment, but the holiday season is an especially meaningful time to lend a hand. Through our 365 Days of Giving program, we’re working to ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy a warm, nourishing meal during the holidays. This ongoing food drive supports the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin County, and we’re inviting you to help make the season brighter for those in need.
What is 365 Days of Giving?
Our program provides donations to Second Harvest Food Bank throughout the entire year. But during the holidays, your contributions have an even greater impact. With your support, we can help feed over 35,000 people in San Joaquin County each month, ensuring that no one goes hungry during this special time of year.
How You Can Make a Difference This Holiday Season
Participating is simple, and it’s a great way to spread holiday cheer. Gather your non-perishable food items and drop them off at any of our convenient locations:
- River Islands Welcome Center (1401 River Islands Parkway)
- Lathrop-Manteca Fire Station #35 (19001 Somerston Parkway)
This season, consider making food donations a part of your holiday traditions. Whether it’s a family outing to drop off items or a neighborhood effort to collect food, every act of kindness helps brighten someone’s holiday.
A Special Thanks
We’re incredibly grateful to our residents who have supported the 365 Days of Giving program. Your generosity has made a tremendous difference, and together, we’ve helped create a stronger, more compassionate community.
Let’s come together this holiday season to give back and spread joy to those who need it most. After all, there’s no better way to celebrate the spirit of the holidays than by sharing hope and kindness!
