River Islands features thirteen lakes in which you and your kids can go kayaking, rowing and paddle boating any day. We also have a Boathouse Restaurant right on the water where you can enjoy a meal with your family or friends! Plus, with leisure areas ranging from pocket parks to sports fields (with bocce courts, by the way), you won’t run out of things to do here—it will feel as if you’re on a holiday every day.
Thirteen lakes are already a part of the community’s design, with more water features in the planning. Whether one lives on the water or enjoys it as a community amenity, opportunities abound for water recreation.
Education is at the core of our vision for River Islands, with a high-performing K-8 Technology Academy already open on-site, and a STEAM campus just across the street. More schools are in our plans, and the region is already home to some of the state’s finest universities.
Discover our schoolsNot only does our newly renovated Community Boathouse and its Bar and Grille serve as a gathering place for residents and visitors, it also provides a gateway to the amenities of Sunset Point Park, with its bocce and sand volleyball courts.
Serving lunch, brunch and dinner!River Islands also has a trail system that attracts walkers, joggers and bicyclists. Part of the trail system includes a miles-long path along the San Joaquin River.
Our almost 5,000 acre site is planned to bring together all of the best elements of the relaxed delta lifestyle with a vision that is decidedly green, healthy, high tech and in harmony with nature.
