LIFESTYLE
WATER-ORIENTED, OUTDOOR LIVING AND RECREATION ARE APART OF THE RIVER ISLANDS LIFESTYLE
River Islands has been designed to nurture a strong sense of community. Opportunities to gather and socialize, play and explore, learn and form business relationships are all right here. As the community grows, this is where you should check for what’s here and what’s happening. We’re sure you’ll find something fun to do that makes those community connections stronger.

Events and festivities help neighbors get to know each other, and co-workers to become friends. River Islands will be hosting events to help people put down roots and share their experiences throughout the year.
Lakes
—
Nine lakes are already a part of the community’s design, with more water features in the planning.  Whether one lives on the water or enjoys it as a community amenity, opportunities abound for water recreation.
COMMUNITY BOATHOUSE

Not only does  our Community Boathouse and its bar and grille serve as a gathering place for residents and visitors, it also provides a gateway to the amenities of Sunset Point Park, with its bocce and sand volleyball courts.
Boathouse & Restaurant
Opportunities for recreation are part of the “healthful neighborhood” approach to the design of River Islands. Physical activity is essential to good health, and the community design at River Islands makes recreation easy and convenient.
Trail System
River Islands has a trail system that attracts walkers, joggers and bicyclists.  Part of the trail system includes a miles-long path along the San Joaquin River.

Proposed energy-efficient technologies, such as passive and active solar designs, use clean energy that is naturally distributed and reduces no by-product waste or pollution.
PART OF LIVING WITH NATURE
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Our first residents moved in to River Islands in 2014.  In 2015, River Islands won special recognition from the City of Lathrop for having the best participation in our first National Night Out program.  Our local police and firefighters joined the neighbors for a picnic-style dinner and evening in the park.

We celebrated National Night Out again in 2016, with a great turn out from our residents, police services and the fire department, and look forward to hosting an event for even more neighbors to meet each other in 2017!
