It’s time for another spotlight of one of our favorite parks in River Islands! Today’s special feature belongs to Summer House Park.

If you’re new to our blog, welcome! We’re so glad you stopped by to read along! This blog is the fifth installment of our River Islands park series where we like to highlight our neighborhood parks and their family-friendly amenities all throughout the community.

It’s easy to see that our Islander lifestyle is all about nurturing a strong sense of community. Opportunities to gather and socialize, play, explore, and enjoy the natural bounty of this part of the San Joaquin Valley are all right here in River Islands. Outdoor living plays a major part in our residents’ active lifestyles, too! Our master plan was designed to encourage walking and physical activity with acres of extensive trails and a variety of recreational amenities, like the beautiful Summer House Park!

Long walking paths leading you throughout the park make logging your daily steps a breeze! There’s plenty of wide-open grassy space for the pups so they can get their exercise in, too, with a good game of fetch! Just don’t forget their favorite ball and treats! For our avid cyclists in the community, this is the perfect place to get in your daily workout or go for a leisurely ride to take in the scenic views along the neighborhood trail system.

What could be better than a picnic lunch this time of year? Maybe flying a kite and tossing a frisbee back and forth with the kiddos and their friends for the afternoon! Summer House Park has endless amenities and opportunities for outdoor fun right in your very own backyard, making it one of our favorite places to soak in the sunshine with our friendly neighbors!
